A wheelchair user surrounded by a group of running dancers

This workshop introduces teaching methods and themes that are suitable for inclusive groups. Through our experience in artistic collaboration with actors and dancers with and without disabilities, we trust in a teaching basis that uses and promotes the diversity of the participants as artistic potential. We are also constantly on the lookout for generally realisable tasks for movement work, focusing on improvisation and dance theatre.

In this context, we offer a variety of possibilities to work with groups in a dance or theatrical way. The introduction to dance work requires a lot of trust. Opening up and showing oneself is practised in our training by performing challenges without any right or wrong. Every person, every body is given the opportunity to move playfully in the group. Exercises for getting to know each other, for awareness of space and for first improvisations with others will be introduced.

During the workshop, the focus is also on perceiving and including diversity. We pose assignments that make diversity an enrichment. We rehearse and improvise in small groups and give ourselves room for observing each other’ s improvisations.

Our workshops are for both experienced and inexperienced people!
