Gruppe auf der Bühne in synchroner Bewegung und glänzender Kleidung

Is this art or should it be removed? The 5-member inclusive team led by Günther Grollitsch is exploring this question about one aspect of sustainability.

The value of artistic work from past epochs and its sustainable effects on today’s creative work will be called into question. Among other things, the waste pyramid is interpreted in a cultural-historical context.

Recycling and reuse are omnipresent on stage and shape the new production’s development process.

This cycle of materials is examined and stretched into artistic approaches and realisations. In this way, a poetic-satirical study of our being in a tension-filled time will be presented.

The team receives support from Delia Nordhaus, director of the Upcycling Galerie Wallerie, and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Henning Albers, who works on recycling in the field of environmental and biotechnology.
