In the end, the two companions drag themselves through a hostile landscape in the not-so-distant future. Together, they struggle against the forces of a climate that has spun out of control.
This is the premise of the latest duet by tanzbar_bremen. Despair and resistance are given physical form through choreographic and acrobatic elements. With a simple set, unsettling soundscape, and two bodies, the dance theater piece portrays what happens when nature turns against us.
At the beginning, they were part of the society that brought about this state.
Or are they still?
Is there room for hope?
