Kleiner Daumen geht auf Reisen (translation: Little thumb goes on a journey)

three dancers are lifting their thumbs

A dance theatre performance for children in kindergarten age

A thumb pointing upwards means, well what!? “Super! Great! All right! Here we go!”. Little Thumb has all these positive characteristics: he is curious, happy, open minded and eager to discover the world. Packed with a bag, it’ s over hill and dale. If a body isn’t for moving, then what‘s it for?

It’ s a piece of cake when the forest comes alive here and the thumb finds new friends. LITTLE THUMB GOES ON A JOURNEY is a story about the thirst for discovery, friendship and the joy of being together using sign language – after all, it’ s possible to understand each other without words.

After the play, little spectators are also invited to join in. Accompanied by the dancers, they can learn words in sign language, experiment variations of walking and moving and enjoy themselves on stage.

It’ s a great trip to watch and participate in!

LITTLE THUMB GOES ON A JOURNEY is the first dance theatre performance for children by the inclusive team of tanzbar_bremen.
